Professional Radiocarbon Dating Services

Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) analysis is recommended for smaller samples (with as little as 100 micrograms of final carbon) and Radiometric Analysis for larger samples (containing 2 to 4 grams final carbon). These two radiocarbon dating methods are equally accurate for optimal sized samples although AMS radiocarbon dating will always provide better precision.

NOTE: Radiometric dating is lower in cost, but AMS radiocarbon dating needs smaller sample size and has higher precision.
