Beta Analytic Opens Forwarding Office in Taiwan

ISO/IEC 17025:2005-accredited radiocarbon dating laboratory Beta Analytic has recently opened a sample forwarding office in Taipei City, Taiwan. The company can now bill in Taiwan Dollar (TWD) via its new office. Clients who will pay in US Dollars (USD) will be billed via the Miami headquarters.

“We aim to provide our clients in Taiwan with cost-effective and hassle-free ways to send their samples and payments to our lab. This is part of our commitment to continually provide fast, high-quality radiocarbon dating services to archaelogists, geoscientists, forensic experts, and other researchers in Taiwan,” Beta Analytic’s China Operations Manager Fuming “Steven” Liu said.

All samples submitted to the Taipei office are sent to Florida, USA, via overnight courier service at Beta Analytic’s expense. All measurements are done in-house in Miami. The laboratory’s standard turnaround time for AMS dating is 14 business days or less. Faster services are also available with turnaround time between 2-6 business days. The client’s results, quality assurance reports, and sample photos are accessible 24/7 via web access.

To date Beta Analytic has opened nine sample forwarding facilities in several cities around the world. The Taipei office is its sixth sample forwarding facility in Asia. Beta Analytic currently has sample forwarding offices in Nagoya, Japan; New Delhi, India; Seoul, South Korea; Beijing and Xiamen, China; London, United Kingdom; North Sydney, Australia; and São Paulo, Brazil.
